Supporters of an anti-U.S. drone convoy attack container trucks as they push into a Pakistani town.
Cricket captain-turned popular politician Imran Khan received a rowdy welcome in the town of tank after his supporters overturned shipping trucks meant to stop his convoy from entering the border region of South Waziristan.
(SOUNDBITE) ( Urdu) UNIDENTIFIED PROTESTER SAYING:
"If Imran Khan gives us a signal, we will remove all obstructions in our way. We have public power with us, a tsunami, and these obstructions are nothing to us."
The so-called "peace convoy" began Saturday in Islamabad.
About 80 Western activists also participated in the protest against drones -- unmanned aircraft the U.S. says are necessary to target terrorists.
Many Pakistanis view the drones attacks as a violation of their sovereignty and are angry over the civilian lives they've claimed.
