Gloved Dreams is a documentary about Mario Pisanti, a 32 years old professional boxer from Latina (a small city near to Rome) . In 2004, at the peak of his career and just one step away to qualify for the Olympic Games in Athens, his dreams were shattered by a car accident. After four long years, Mario is back on the ring. Striving to fill the emptiness he still feels for those Olympics he missed, his aim is to win the Italian title. But now, in order to reach his goal, he has to fight against the obstacles hidden in everyday life. Above all, he has to defeat his strongest opponent: the fear to loose once again his big chance.
