The Pentagon has demanded that Wikileaks remove secret documents on the Afghan war from its website. Tens of thousands of leaked files with information on civilian deaths and other sensitive issues appeared on the site last month. Officials say the disclosure could put U.S. troops in Afghanistan at risk. The Pentagon has also asked the online whistle-blower not to release other documents it holds.
