Former Steel Minister Virbhadra Singh comes under scrutiny as he faces questions about 'unaccounted cash' entries in his Income Tax returns. Singh's original IT returns showed net agricultural income of Rs 7 lakh, Rs 15 lakh and Rs 25 lakhs for the years 2009-2012. But, the revised returns filed in 2012 showed a sharp increase in the agricultural income. The source of this sudden increase in income is not clear.
