Jagruthi Kiran Foundation organises Candlelight March for Paryavaran Kavitodyamam at Vijayawada 12 March 2010 on Swami Vivekananda National Youth Day. March is symbolic mark against Global Warming, Climate Change. "Vidyavachaspati" Prof Dr N N Murthy noted Environmentalist, Poet and Crusader of the movement speaks and explains importance of the march. This is one of the events of Paryavaran Kavitodyamam in association with Malle Teega & Kadhakeli magazines. Nearly 100 poets, writers, cartoonists walked from Press Club to Alankar Centre with lighting candles silently. Many activities have been organized under this movement started way back in May 2008. Harita Kavita (Green Poem), Harita Kata (Green Story) are literary events apart from other events such as awareness for school children, training to fishermen etc. Paryavaran Kavitodyamam is a new trend in modern Telugu literature and is unique, greatest ever movement of its nature and kind in the World.
