The man suspected of an attempted bombing in New York has been arrested. The Pakistani-born U.S. citizen was detained at JFK airport while attempting to board a flight to Dubai. Federal authorities say Faisal Shahzad, who is accused of driving a bomb-laden SUV into Times Square and parking it on a street, is to appear in court. The home-made bomb was left in a car in Times Square on Saturday, but was discovered and dismantled before it went off. An explosion would have caused mayhem, as the area was packed with people at the time.
