In Britain Lord Leveson has released the results of his nine-month inquiry into the British newspaper industry.
The senior judge has called for a new independent body to regulate the press, to prevent a repeat of the excesses which led to the phone hacking scandal.
He said that parliament would in no way regulate British papers.
