'Chilling' at the bottom of the world

Sir Ranulph Fiennes is considered one of Britain's greatest explorers, but at 68 you would forgive him for wanting to take it easy.

Instead, he will be literally ‘chilling’ on a six-month voyage across Antarctica in temperatures dropping below minus 90 Celsius.

Fiennes' is a mission with a scientific purpose, to study the effects of climate change on the Antarctic's ice.
