"Hog Hunting in North East.

Another forest-dwelling animal hunted in Arunachal Pradesh is the Wild Boar. The Wild Boar can attain a massive size, with age. While at most times, the meat is brought back to the village, it is occasionally butchered and prepared in the forest itself. Its meat is cooked along with spices and chili pepper, in a hollow bamboo that is placed over the fire. While the meat cooks, bamboo baskets are woven to carry the meat. Versatile and enormously useful, bamboo is put to many uses in Arunchal Pradesh. The baskets are then lined with banana leaves, filled with meat, and carried home to their villages.
