Set up in 1986, and registered under the Cooperative Societies Act 1925, the Pakistan Education Foundation (PEF) is the first of its type in the field of education and training. It is a voluntary organization instituted for the benefit and welfare of people connected with education. The basic purpose of this organization is to generate, harmonize and streamline efforts for the professional uplift of people concerned with education and to organize professional, welfare and other constructive activities for their benefit. The beneficiaries of its activities include students, teachers, Principals, Administrators and organizations associated with the cause of education. The foundation has been registered under Cooperative Societies Act 1925, its members are protected under the provisions of this Act. The membership of the foundation is on voluntary basis; anybody related to education is eligible. At present we have more than 4000 registered members from all the four provinces of Pakistan as well as Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
