Hollywood movie star Tom Cruise walked the red carpet in Buenos Aires, Argentina on Tuesday (March 26) where he attended the premier of his latest science-fiction film, "Oblivion."
Fans lined the red carpet as Cruise waved and posed for photographs.

"The character is interesting because at the beginning of the film, you know, he is the last man on Earth and yet he has a deep connection with Earth and loves Earth so he doesn't want to leave. I can identify with that, this is a very beautiful world that we live in."
The new film, Oblivion, is based on the Radical Comics graphic novel of the same name by Joseph Kosinski, and is set in a futuristic 2073 after the Earth has been all but destroyed by an alien invasion.
Cruise, now single after ex-wife Katie Holmes filed for divorce in 2012, plays Commander Jack Harper, a drone mechanic and one of the last men left on Earth.
