Family and friends of 17-year-old Rehtaeh Parsons gather in the Canadian city of Halifax to honour her memory.
Earlier in the week, the teen was taken off life support following an attempt to hang herself.
Her family says Parsons was bullied for more than a year after being gang raped by four teenage boys who took photos of the assault and posted them on the Internet.

"We are coming together in memory of Reh to celebrate her life. She was a phenomenal young woman. When I asked family members what I should say, this is what they said: Bullying needs to stop."
Her death has sparked a media storm, prompting Prime Minister Stephen Harper to describe the events leading to her attempted suicide as a criminal offense.
