Kuala Lumpur is awash with campaign flags and posters on the eve of the Malaysia's 13th general elections.
Election officials, volunteers and political party supporters made their final preparations on Saturday.
Malaysia has been ruled by the Barisan Nasional coalition for 56 years - Ethnic Malays are its bedrock of support.
The opposition gets big support young aspiring Malays and the ethnic Chinese and Indian minorities.
It's been campaigning on the perception that an elite few have gained from the countries booming economy at the expense of the masses.
