Cowboy boots, also called the Western boots are a type of riding boots that were traditionally worn by cowboys. These have a Cuban heel, rounded or a pointed toe and a high shaft. Generally, these boots are made by lacing, or are made from cowhide leather. Leather boots are also made up of alligator or snake skin and other types of exotic leathers. Today, these boots are available under brand names such as Lucchese boots, and Minnetonka boots.
